Symmetry Mobile allows customers to use an application installed on a mobile phone to allow the use of virtual access control credentials with Symmetry Blue readers. Customer access is configured via the Setup Portal, whilst the Admin Portal is used to create Credential Groups and an Access Control System (ACS).

Once the Credential Group, and Access Control system are configured, the Credentials can then be created and an invitation sent to the credential holder. Scanning the invitation QR code will then initiate an approval process to allow the credential holder to use the credential. The access provided by the credential will be dictated by the access rights assigned to the matching credential configured within the supported ACS.
